The rest of what you get, Pair of awsome 980 heads, 8272980 cast code. Date C 28 / 79 using Mallory Roller Rockers, 850 Holley Double Pumper (Old School style), Polished Aluminum Intake, Auto transmission Flywheel. Just over 30 Hours on this Motor Setup.
If your still interested here is the History. Last installed in Mr Eddie Hill's personal family Ski Boat. If you don't know Speed Boat Drag racing or NHRA Drag Racing you'd need to look up the Fastest Man on Water and Land... Back to Motor Mr Hill had the Pistons changed to run 9.5 to 1 for pump gas on the Water. This motor was used in a Street Rod for Show only for a few years back in the 70's... Mid 79 or 80 Mr Hill had sold the Show car without the motor and opted to have it installed in his brand new SKI boat back then. Logging right at 30 hours. A GM dealer offered him a 502 BBC so this one came out and has been in a temp controlled shop ever since. I have located a good car oil pan so when you pick it up it will be ready to go.
